Here's the issue: my installation did not provide the ability to do Steps 1 - 4, which I believe I mentioned at some previous point. Once the installer initialized, the next step is a dialogue box to enter serial number, which is immediately followed by a dialogue box requesting you connect to the internet or follow the link to the Offline Activation page. While others have posted this dialogue box, I will attach image of it here.
